Information Meeting At N. Pine Govt. Center Thurs. May 23, 6 p.m. for Parking Area on Crooked Lake Road

1.) Pine County obtained the 203.39 acre property at the lake access
through tax forfeiture. The creation date for
this parcel is listed as Sept. 10, 1989.
2.) The Pine County Land Department reports that
the site is currently used informally as a small
boat launch, but this results in parking along
the township road and rutting/sedimentation
of the current boat access.
3.) The Land Department is seeking to turn
approximately 0.14 acres of this property into a
canoe and small boat access with a parking
area.
4.) The portion of the parcel under consideration is
within the shoreland and is designated as the
Pine County Shoreland Special Protection
District.
5.) Parks, historic sites and camping facilities are
conditional uses under the Special Protection
District and require a Conditional Use Permit.
