PROJECTED ROAD PROJECTS FOR 2019-20
North Duncan Road: Install two new culverts on N. Duncan Road in low spots where water is always on the road. First one within approximately 50 yards north of the snowmobile trail; second about 100 yards to the north of that. 12” x 30′ culverts will be sufficient. Lay down 2 – 3 loads of pit-run gravel to lift the road enough over the culverts, covered then with class 5 gravel, along with covering previous pit-run gravel spreads.
Replace culvert just past the last cabin; it is too small. Whatever size, 4” – 6” plus enough gravel to cover. Estimates $1500 for the three new and 1 replacement culverts on North Duncan and South Duncan Roads. Installation and gravel will be about $400 per culvert.
South Duncan Road: Install one new culvert where water is always over the road on the hill before the blue gate, 12” x 30′.
River Cabin Road: Class 5 gravel over entire road, approximately 35 loads, @ $200 per load. Lost River Road, 20 loads; Mona Drive, 20 loads.
Lost River Road: Class 5 gravel over entire road, approximately 20 loads @ $200 per load.
Mona Drive: Class 5 gravel on entire road, approximately 20 loads @ $200 per load.
Brushing Roads: Approximately 2/3’s of our roads were brushed; Alden recommends that all roads be completed in 2020 and every 3 years after that. Brushing estimates 25 hours in 2020 and then every three years after that, at $125/hour.
